Jadon Sancho Scores Fifth EPL Goal Of The Season As Tottenham Concede Early Again
It took Manchester United just six minutes and 13 seconds to take the lead at Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday night.
After conceding five goals in the first 21 minutes of Sunday's 6-1 defeat at Newcastle, Spurs will have been desperate to start strongly in front of their own supporters.
But it was the away fans who had something to celebrate early on when Jadon Sancho netted his fifth EPL goal of the season.
Sancho received the ball on the left flank following good work by Marcus Rashford.
The winger then cut inside onto his favored right foot and fired a low powerful shot past Fraser Forster.
United doubled their lead before half-time when Marcus Rashford fired home his 29th club goal of the campaign following a 55-yard pass by Bruno Fernandes.
But Spurs rallied in the second half and fought back to earn a 2-2 thanks to strikes from Pedro Porro and Son Heung-min.
