Ivan Provedel became the fourth goalkeeper in UEFA Champions League history to score a goal as Lazio rescued a 1-1 draw against Atletico Madrid in the fifth minute of added time.

Provedel was voted as the Goalkeeper of the Year in Serie A last season, but he showed that he has attacking talents too after being sent forward with his team 1-0 down.

The 29-year-old's headed equalizer from six yards proved to be the final action of Tuesday's Group E opener at the Stadio Olimpico.

Pablo Barrios had earlier given Atletico the lead in the 29th minute.
