Giorgio Chiellini's eight-year-old daughter looked star-struck after she posed for a photo with Lionel Messi following Inter Miami's 3-1 win at LAFC on Sunday night.

LAFC center-back Chiellini, 39, had been substituted off 52 minutes into the game, moments after Messi, 36, had carved open the Los Angeles defense to claim his first of two assists.

But the Italian's work was not quite finished.

Shortly after the final whistle, Chiellini's eldest child Nina ordered her dad to take a picture of her and a friend next to Messi.

After digging his daughter's phone out of her handbag and performing his fatherly duties as a photographer, Chiellini and Messi shared a hug.

Messi also greeted Owen Wilson's children after the game.

Actor Wilson was one of many celebrities among the crowd at BMO Stadium.

Prince Harry, Mario Lopez, Edward Norton, Selena Gomez, Tyga and Leonardo DiCaprio were also in attendance.
