Liverpool 4-3 Tottenham

Liverpool blew a 3-0 lead against Tottenham but still emerged victorious in an incredible seven-goal thriller at Anfield.

Diogo Jota scored a 94th-minute winner for the Reds, just 99 seconds after Richarlison had equalized with his first Premier League goal for Spurs.

Sunday's wild win saw Liverpool move above Spurs to fifth in the EPL table.

Spurs appeared to be on course for another away thrashing when they fell 3-0 down inside 15 minutes, just seven days on from a 6-1 defeat at Newcastle.

Curtis Jones got the first in the third minute following a fine cross from Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Luis Diaz then volleyed home his first goal since September, with Cody Gakpo providing the assist.

Mo Salah scored Liverpool's third goal from a penalty kick after Gakpo was fouled by Cristian Romero.

Seemingly with nothing to lose, Tottenham fought back.

Ivan Perisic set up Harry Kane who volleyed the ball through the legs of Alisson Becker to give Spurs hope.

Son Heung-min had hit the woodwork twice before he finally found the net in the 77th minute following a good pass from Romero, who had also hit the post.

Anfield was very edgy now, even more so in the 86th minute when Ibrahima Konate survived a VAR check for a possible foul on Richarlison inside the penalty area.

The stadium then fell flat in the third minute of added time when Richarlison headed in from a Son free-kick to make it 3-3.

But Anfield was wide awake 99 seconds later. An awful error from Lucas Moura provided Jota with one final chance and he finished it beautifully.
