Man City Beat Luton Without Erling Haaland To End Four-Game Winless EPL Streak
Manchester City won for the first time in five Premier League games by coming from behind to beat Luton Town 2-1 at Kenilworth Road on Sunday.
Elijah Adebayo headed Luton into a shock lead just before half-time.
But City responded after the break with goals from Bernardo Silva and Jack Grealish.
Erling Haaland did not feature in Sunday's game. Pep Guardiola revealed before kick-off that Haaland had suffered a foot injury during Wednesday's 1-0 defeat at Aston Villa.
City dominated the first half in terms of possession and chances but fell behind in added time when Adebayo rose above Ruben Dias to power a header past Ederson from close range after a superb cross from Andros Townsend.
Luton held their lead until the 62nd minute when Silva produced a crisp low finish from 15 yards after the ball had rolled into his path following a Tom Lockyer tackle on Rodri.
City were ahead 170 seconds later thanks to Grealish's 50th career goal.
The former Aston Villa captain shot between the legs of Luton keeper Thomas Kaminski after getting on the end of a fine low delivery from Julian Alvarez.
Sunday's win took fourth-place City to within four points of Premier League leaders Liverpool.
Luton remain in the relegation zone.
