Watch Nampalys Mendy Score First Leicester Goal With Stunning Strike Against Tottenham

Nampalys Mendy scored the first goal of his Leicester City career on Saturday and it was an absolute stunner against Tottenham.

Thirty-year-old Leicester City midfielder Nampalys Mendy scored only the second goal of his career on Saturday and it was an absolute stunner.

Mendy, playing his 109th game for Leicester, arrowed a superb first-time strike into the roof of the Tottenham net from just inside the penalty area.

His wondergoal arrived 23 minutes into the game and it drew Leicester level after Rodrigo Bentancur had put Spurs 1-0 up.

James Maddison, Kelechi Iheanacho and Harvey Barnes later joined Mendy on the scoresheet as Leicester won 4-1.

Mendy had never previously scored for Leicester.

The only other goal of his senior career had come for Nice against Bastia in September 2015.
