Saturday's win took City up to third place in the Premier League table - above Arsenal, who will face Fulham on New Year's Eve in their final game of 2023.

Aston Villa remain second after beating Burnley 3-2 on Saturday.

At the other end of the table, Sheffield United are still bottom of the pile with nine points.

The Blades are seven points behind Everton in 17th place. Everton lost 3-0 at Wolves on Saturday.

Elsewhere on Saturday, Crystal Palace beat Brentford 3-1 in a London derby. Chelsea won 3-2 at Luton earlier in the day.
