Rafael Leao Shushes His Critics After Scoring Slick Overhead Kick To Help AC Milan Beat PSG
Rafael Leao ended his 10-game goal drought in style on Tuesday night by scoring with an overhead kick to help AC Milan beat Paris Saint-Germain 2-1.
The 24-year-old had not netted for Milan or Portugal since September 23 but that dry spell came to a dramatic halt in the 12th minute on Tuesday.
Milan teammate Olivier Giroud was denied by PSG keeper Gianluigi Donnarumma before Leao acrobatically converted the rebound from six yards.
Leao has received a lot of criticism - both from fans and journalists - in recent weeks.
His goal celebration on Tuesday appeared to be aimed at those critics as he put his finger to his lips as if to say 'shush'.
Leao's stylish strike drew Milan level at 1-1 after former Inter defender Milan Skriniar had earlier headed the French side in front.
Giroud later completed the turnaround for Milan by heading home from a Theo Hernandez cross five minutes into the second half.
