Robbie Williams Goes Viral After Singing Big Ange Postecoglou Song

Pop music legend Robbie Williams has thrilled Tottenham fans by recording a rendition of a new song that was created to celebrate Ange Postecoglou and his brand of attacking football.

James Black, a lifelong Spurs supporter who performs live music on matchdays at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, recently reworked the chorus of Robbie's 1997 mega-hit 'Angels' to form 'I'm Loving Big Ange Instead'.

It went viral on social media and even caught the attention of Robbie himself, who recorded a special version over the weekend.

Robbie famously supports Port Vale but, after singing 'I'm Loving Big Ange Instead' in a video uploaded to Instagram, he joked: "I guess I'm a Spurs fan now then."

Postecoglou has made an excellent start to life at Spurs.

Despite losing Harry Kane to Bayern Munich just days before the start of the season, Postecoglou's Tottenham have taken seven points from their first three games.

As well as being impressed by Tottenham's results, fans have been delighted by Postecoglou's tactical approach, which is very different to that of predecessors Jose Mourinho and Antonio Conte.

Mourinho and Conte are both namechecked in the Big Ange song, as is former manager Mauricio Pochettino, who took charge of London rivals Chelsea earlier this summer.

I'm Loving Big Ange Instead lyrics

And through it all, we'll play the way we want to, with big Ange Postecoglou, whether I'm right or wrong.

It's big Ange ball, so you can keep your Pochettino, Conte and Mourinho, and even Christian Gross.

Cos' everywhere we go, I'm loving big Ange instead.
