Real Madrid will play in the semi-finals of the Champions League for the 11th time in 13 seasons after completing an emphatic victory over Chelsea in the last eight.

Rodrygo ended hope of a Chelsea comeback by scoring his 12th and 13th goals of the season to earn a 2-0 victory at Stamford Bridge in Tuesday's second leg, six days after Real had won by the same score in Spain.

Chelsea had recorded 10 shots before Rodrygo punished their wastefulness by spearheading a fine counter-attack in the 58th minute.

Rodrygo found himself one-on-one with Trevoh Chalobah, who mistimed his slide tackle and watched on helplessly as the Brazilian raced away from him and into the penalty area.

After getting to the byline, Rodrygo pulled the ball back to Karim Benzema. The Frenchman missed the ball, but it was picked up by Vinicius Junior and he gave it back to Rodrygo to finish the job.

Rodrygo celebrated in the style of Cristiano Ronaldo by performing the former Real forward's famous 'SIU' routine.

But Rodrygo was not done yet.

He scored again in the 80th minute after a fine assist by Federico Valverde.

Real, who beat Liverpool in the previous round, will face another English team in the semi-finals unless Manchester City blow a 3-0 lead against Bayern Munich on Wednesday.
