Chelsea are guaranteed to finish first in Champions League Group E after battling to a 2-1 win at RB Salzburg on Tuesday night.

Mateo Kovacic and Kai Havertz scored Chelsea's goals either side of Chukwubuike Adamu's 48th-minute equalizer.

But the busiest man on the pitch was referee Sandro Schaerer.

The game was punctuated by 27 fouls, including one in the 82nd minute which resulted in Chelsea defender Thiago Silva landing on the back of his neck.

As the Brazilian center-back jumped for a header, Roko Simic nudged him in the air, resulting in a worrying fall.

Fortunately, Silva was not significantly hurt and he was able to complete the full game.

Silva's wife, Belle, tweeted a video of the foul along with the caption: "Is it a soccer game or MMA?? Thank God for this deliverance".

Belle regularly travels to away games to support her husband.

She was at the San Siro earlier this month to see Chelsea's 2-0 win over AC Milan.

After that game, she shared a video of herself celebrating with a group of Blues fans in Italy.
