Hakim Ziyech scored a stunning long-range goal as Morocco warmed up for the World Cup by beating Georgia 3-0 in a friendly in the UAE on Thursday.

Ziyech, who has only had 148 minutes of Premier League game time for Chelsea this season, featured for over an hour at Sharjah Stadium.

The former Ajax winger produced the moment of the match in the 29th minute after intercepting a pass from Georgia captain Guram Kashia.

After controlling the ball with his right foot, Ziyech set himself with his left before arrowing a shot over keeper Giorgi Mamardashvili from inside his own half.

Sevilla striker Youssef En-Nesyri had earlier put Morocco 1-0 up. Ex-Southampton winger Sofiane Boufal completed the scoring in the second half.

Morocco will start their World Cup campaign next Wednesday when they take on 2018 finalists Croatia in Group F.

Belgium and Canada are the other teams in Morocco's group.
