Watch Wilfried Gnonto Stun Manchester United By Scoring For Leeds Inside 55 Seconds
Wilfried Gnonto scored his first ever away goal for Leeds by finding the net after just 55 seconds in Wednesday's Premier League game at Manchester United.
The post-Marsch era began with a bang for Leeds on Wednesday night.
It took Wilfried Gnonto just 55 seconds to fire Leeds 1-0 up at Manchester United.
The 19-year-old played a one-two with Patrick Bamford before nailing a low shot past David de Gea from outside the penalty area.
It was not a bad way for Gnonto to score his first ever away goal for Leeds.
Leeds were under the stewardship of Michael Skubal on Wednesday, having fired Marsch earlier in the week.
Skubal will have been dreaming of delivering Leeds a first ever EPL win at Old Trafford when a Raphael Varane own goal made it 2-0 early in the second half.
But the home side fought back to earn a 2-2 draw thanks to strikes from Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho.
