Arsenal Boost EPL Goal Difference by Hitting West Ham for Six in Record-Breaking Away Win
Arsenal recorded their biggest away win in Premier League history by thrashing West Ham United 6-0 at the London Stadium on Sunday.
Bukayo Saka scored twice for the Gunners, who now have the same goal difference (+31) as title rivals Manchester City.
William Saliba, Gabriel Magalhaes, Leandro Trossard and Declan Rice got Arsenal's other goals.
Rice - who was playing at the London Stadium for the first time since leaving West Ham - also provided two assists.
This was Arsenal's biggest EPL win since February 2012 when they beat Blackburn 7-1 at the Emirates Stadium.
It also replaced a 6-1 victory at Everton in August 2009 as Arsenal's heaviest away victory in the competition.
Arsenal have now started 2024 with four consecutive league wins.
Mikel Arteta's side sit just two points below leaders Liverpool with 14 rounds of EPL fixtures remaining.
Arsenal are level on points with City, who have played one game fewer.
