Paul Mullin Recreates Famous Harry Kane Goal Against Boreham Wood To Help Wrexham Win Promotion To EFL
Paul Mullin recreated one of Harry Kane's best ever goals to help Wrexham seal promotion to the Football League.
Mullin's moment of magic arrived in the 53rd minute of Saturday's 3-1 home win over Boreham Wood.
The 28-year-old collected the ball near the left corner flag with a defender in close attendance.
After holding off the defender, Mullin produced a sharp turn before quickly dribbling infield and curling a superb shot into the top corner from a tight angle.
Many fans immediately took to Twitter to comment that the goal was remarkably similar to the one that Kane scored against Arsenal in 2016.
So... who did it better?
Paul Mullin, WREXHAM vs Boreham Wood (2023)
Harry Kane, TOTTENHAM vs Arsenal (2016)
Mullin went on to score again in Saturday's game, taking his tally for the season to 47 goals in all competitions.
Wrexham's 3-1 win over Boreham Wood made it mathematically impossible for rivals Notts County to stop them winning the National League title.
