More than 100 players have been signed to the UFL through the first week of the free-agency period. It also took one week for the teams to jump on making trades.

The league announced Monday night the Birmingham Stallions traded defensive back Alijah Holder to the San Antonio Brahmas in exchange for defensive back Bubba Bolden.

Holder was originally selected by the Stallions in the second round of the UFL Super Dispersal Draft last week. He played for the Seattle Sea Dragons in the XFL in 2023, registering 25 tackles on the year. Holder also played in the USFL with the Houston Gamblers in 2022, putting up 19 tackles and one interception on the season. He spent time in the NFL with the Denver Broncos and Detroit Lions.

Bolden was retained to the 42-man roster for San Antonio before the Dispersal Draft. He was signed by the Brahmas in December. Before the UFL, Bolden played in the NFL with the Seattle Seahawks and Cleveland Browns in 2022 and 2023.

The Brahmas have made quite a few moves, many involving former players from the Houston Roughnecks. San Antonio coach Wade Phillips and his staff have signed 30 players in the last four days.

The Stallions are looking to put the final touches to a roster that is built for another title run. Even without quarterback Alex McGough, J'Mar Smith led Birmingham to a title in 2022.
