Many of the anticipated league announcements for the UFL 2024 season have already arrived during the new calendar year. The newly merged USFL-XFL has unveiled its league rules, team and tv schedules, coaching staffs, etc.

But one area that hasn't been addressed yet is what the UFL uniforms for the upcoming 2024 season will look like when it kicks off on Saturday, March 30.

Sources inside the league have informed Sports Illustrated that an update on the league's uniforms will arrive this coming week.

UFL teams have already begun practicing in pads in the league's centralized training camp locations in the Arlington/DFW area. Teams are also expected to conduct joint practices and scrimmages.

Last year, Under Armour was the XFL's official outfitter for its 2023 season.

The USFL has had its uniforms designed the past two years by Joe Bosack & Co. and Studio Simon – manufactured by Ripon Athletic in Wisconsin, while Riddell made the helmets for the league.

Although it hasn't been announced officially, Under Armour will be the official outfitter for the UFL in 2024 and beyond. The Baltimore-based sportswear brand inked a broad, multi-year pact with the XFL last February.

Because of the marriage between the XFL and USFL, there's been speculation for months about a potential redesign for all teams — specifically on the USFL side, and their three surviving brands (Birmingham Stallions, Michigan Panthers and Memphis Showboats).

In the early days of the merger talks, there were rumblings inside both leagues of a complete overhaul of the USFL brands to fit in more with the look of the XFL's teams, but time constraints may limit any grand shift in overall branding.

Fans of both leagues have been speculating for quite some time about potential alterations or even alternate jerseys for both league's teams. The speculation should end this week as the UFL presents a new unified look.
