The bout practically ensures that UFC 300 will end in a knockout. Both Pereira and Hill possess outrageous power, and both will be seeking a knockout victory.
This fight will be Hill’s first since winning the title in January of 2023. He bludgeoned Pereira’s close friend/teammate Glover Teixeira, but never had a chance to defend his belt after rupturing his Achilles tendon over the summer.

A healthy Hill poses significant problems for anyone. That includes Pereira, who was impressive this past November when he defeated former champ Jiri Prochazka to win the vacant title. Now he seeks to avenge Teixeira’s loss and claim full possession of the belt, while Hill attempts to reclaim a title he never lost.
