Johnny Eblen fights Impa Kasanganay in the co-main event of today’s PFL vs. Bellator pay-per-view.

Former UFC star Jorge Masvidal feels this will be a one-sided bout in Eblen’s favor.

“Johnny’s going to dominate,” said Masvidal, who is a teammate of Eblen’s at American Top Team. “I’ve seen Johnny work out with world champions, and I’ve seen him steamroll those guys.

“And Johnny’s mean. That’s why I like him. When we first started training together, I’d kick him hard, and he’d f------ kick me back harder. I punched him in the face, he’d f------ punch me back harder.”

Eblen can wrestle offensively and defensively, his standup is elite, and he possesses natural power in both hands. He would be an instant star if we to fight for the UFC, but his Bellator/PFL contract runs until the fall of 2025.

“I hope PFL does the right thing and lets Johnny go,” said Masvidal. “Let Johnny go to the UFC and carry out his dreams. He’s the best middleweight in the world. He doesn’t have the name recognition yet, but he will.”

Masvidal respects Kasanganay, yet believes this bout will end badly for him.

“This isn’t going to be good for Impa,” said Masvidal. “Johnny’s going to disintegrate him.”
