Kayla Harrison Signs With UFC, Set to Fight at UFC 300
The two-time Olympic gold medalist makes her long-awaited UFC debut this April
Kayla Harrison has signed with the UFC. Her debut is imminent, as she will compete against Holly Holm this April at UFC 300.
The news was announced by UFC CEO Dana White on Tuesday night.
Signing Harrison is a major acquisition. She is a two-time Olympic gold medalist and the former face of the women’s division of the PFL. There had been rumors that her next bout was to be against Cris Cyborg, but clearly that is not the case.
Harrison will fight Holm at bantamweight. If she can secure a victory against Holm, a title shot will be in reach for Harrison.
