Title Fight Announced for UFC 300

Gold will be on the line at UFC 300

UFC 300 has its first title fight.

Per UFC CEO Dana White, UFC 300 will feature Weili Zhang defending the women’s strawweight title against Yan Xiaonan.

The bout highlights two of the most exceptional mixed martial artists from China. Zhang (24-3) has won her last three fights, as well as 24 of her last 26. She pummeled Amanda Lemos this past summer in her most recent title defense at UFC 292, and she will enter as the favorite at UFC 300.

Xiaonan (17-3, 1 NC) possesses the type of power that will present problems for Zhang. She has won her last two bouts, most recently knocking out Jéssica Andrade in May.

White also revealed that he will make more UFC 300 announcements tomorrow.
