Cody Rhodes Graces The Cover of WWE 2K24
WWE 2K24 has its cover star, and it is “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes.
Rhodes is in the midst of the most successful stretch of his career. Becoming the cover star of the WWE 2K series has long been a desire of his, and thanks to his soaring popularity, he is the best for the 2K24 cover.
Since his return to WWE at WrestleMania 38 nearly two years, he crafted three classic matches with Seth Rollins (including an iconic Hell in a Cell encounter that will forever be part of his legacy), a trio of outstanding bouts with Brock Lesnar, and one tense, compelling WrestleMania main event against Roman Reigns. Rhodes also won last year’s Royal Rumble, and he is determined–even in the presence of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson–to headline WrestleMania 40 against Reigns.
The proud son of “The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes, Cody Rhodes wants to accomplish feats that have yet to be attained by either his legendary father or brother Dustin Rhodes. He fulfilled that objective today, becoming the WWE 2K24 Standard Edition cover superstar.
In addition to the Standard Edition, there is also a Deluxe Edition. That cover features both Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair. There is also a 40 Years of WrestleMania Edition cover, which features “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, The Rock, Hulk Hogan, The Undertaker, Andre The Giant, Brock Lesnar, Roman Reigns, Charlotte Flair, John Cena, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Becky Lynch, and Belair.
The 38-year-old from Marietta, Georgia, Rhodes continues to reach new heights in WWE. There is considerable intrigue about what will transpire at this year’s Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber, and WrestleMania, primarily surrounding whether Rhodes will win the world title and finish his story.
As of today, the chase of Rhodes’ latest goal has paid dividends. While the main event and finish of WrestleMania remain a mystery, there is no question about who the face is of WWE 2K24.
In just over two months, we will see if Rhodes follows this up by becoming the official face of the brand as WWE champion.
