The build to WrestleMania continues.

Last week on SmackDown, The Rock challenged Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins for a tag match at Night One of WrestleMania 40.

Rhodes and Rollins, The Rock proposed, would wrestle Rock and Roman Reigns. And a stipulation was included: if Rhodes and Rollins win, no interference from The Bloodline will be allowed in either of their respective title matches at Night Two of WrestleMania. But if Rock and Reigns win, then Rhodes will have to face Reigns under Bloodline Rules during their singles match.

This week, the challenge was accepted. Rollins accepted on behalf of himself and Rhodes, who never provided an answer. Reigns then immediately criticized Rhodes, explaining that WrestleMania 40 will be Rhodes’ final chance at Reigns. There are a number of different ways this can play out, but it still leaves the door open for Rollins to turn on Rhodes.

Before the show went off the air, Rhodes responded to The Rock’s barrage of insults by smacking him across the face.

Clearly, the story between Rock and Rhodes has more to it–and though Rollins accepted the challenge, it will be fascinating to hear Rhodes provide his answer.

Even with Rollins accepting the challenge, there are still more questions than answers heading into WrestleMania.
