‘Rumor & Innuendo’ Coming To AdFreeShows And Podcast Heat

Hosted by Robert Karpeles and Nick Hausman, the new show will launch on Monday, November 27

Rumor & Innuendo is coming to AdFreeShows.

Hosted by Robert Karpeles and Nick Hausman, the show will cover the most compelling aspects of professional wrestling in the ring and behind the curtain. Fittingly, the show will launch on Monday, November 27, which is two days after WWE’s Survivor Series.

The combination of Karpeles and Hausman should produce fascinating discussions. Karpeles, who is the mastermind behind the @WWECreative_ish account on Twitter, is a former member of the WWE creative team–and one of the brightest, funniest people involved in wrestling.

Hausman, an intrepid reporter who has produced work for multiple sites, currently oversees his own Haus of Wrestling, which continues to be at the forefront of breaking news.

Streamed live every Monday through Friday at 12pm ET on the AdFreeShows network, the pair intend to inform, entertain, and critique on a daily basis. The daily show will be streamed live on multiple platforms–including AdFreeShows, Podcast Heat, Haus of Wrestling, the Rumor & Innuendo YouTube channels, as well as the WWECreative_ish account. After airing, it will be immediately uploaded to the Rumor & Innuendo podcast feed.

“This is the perfect culmination of all of my various experiences in the wrestling industry,” said Karpeles. “I went from a fan to a member of the WWE creative team to a daily commentator on the industry through the WWECreative_ish Twitter account to helping relaunch MLW, where I worked with the current crop of top stars in the business like MJF, Swerve Strickland, Sammy Guevara, Darby Allin, and Wheeler Yuta. As a host of the WrestleRoasts podcast I get to chat with three incredibly talented comedians and riff on performers and companies.

“The challenge with a weekly podcast is wrestling news occurs on a daily basis, so there are so many stories that either slip through the cracks or are old news by the time we’re ready to record. With Rumor & Innuendo, I get the opportunity to talk daily with Nick about the news of WWE, AEW, TNA, and the rest of the pro wrestling landscape. It’s like a wrestling group text come-to-life.”

Combining Karpeles’ sense of humor and perspective with Hausman’s desire to break news provides an opportunity for this show to stand out amidst a very competitive field.

“As Robert mentioned, he has worked as a writer and producer for WWE, MLW, and elsewhere–combined with my first-hand insights into many of the top stories of the day, fans will receive a level of insight that they cannot find anywhere else,” said Hausman. “And Robert shares passion for pro wrestling and comedy like I do. I think fans will really enjoy our chemistry and the analysis we bring to the pro wrestling business. If I’m going to talk about rumor and innuendo, there’s no one I’d rather do it with than Robert.”

For those familiar with both Karpeles and Hausman, they both bring a genuine passion for pro wrestling. That will be evident from the very first episode, where the conversation will likely revolve around whether CM Punk did–or did not–return to WWE at Survivor Series.

On days where news is breaking, and even on the slower times far away from the excitement of WrestleMania season, all signs point to this being a show worthy of people investing their time.

“It’s going to be a fun, informative, and entertaining live 30-minute show set during most people’s lunch break,” said Karpeles. “Think of it as The Pat McAfee Show if all Pat did was talk about wrestling and if none of the hosts are as handsome as Aaron Rodgers.

“You’re going to know everything going on in the wrestling world, and you’re going to get perspectives and analysis that you won’t hear anywhere else.”
