Power Slap returns tonight, airing live on Rumble at 9pm ET.

Despite hefty criticism, Dana White’s slap fighting organization remains an important entity in the Endeavor portfolio. Its rise continues tonight at Power Slap 5, which White believes is its most complete card to date.

“Wait until you see the super heavyweights,” said White, referencing the bout pitting “Da Crazy Hawaiian” Koa Viernes against former NFL lineman Kalani Vakameilalo. “That’s for the super heavyweight belt, and it’s going to be insane.”

Power Slap 5 is built around four title fights, as well as an appearance from the dominant Sheena Bathory–potentially the most dominant female slap fighter in the world–as she faces off against Christine Wolmarans.

“Sheena Bathory is a badass,” said White. “Power Slap is continuing to evolve, and the women make this card even better.”

The second season of the Power Slap reality show just finished filming, so the potential exists for its release date to be announced tonight. Unlike the first season, which aired on TBS, this will air on Rumble.

White is especially proud of the production values his team has embedded into Power Slap, which he believes competes with every other major sports organization.

“With the UFC, we should have so many Emmys over here that we have to step over them to get to our offices–that’s how talented the UFC production team is,” said White. “We just don’t get the credit yet. And Power Slap will never win awards for production, but we should. Compare us to the production of the NFL. We’re not sparing any expense. We take it really seriously, we work hard, and we have a really talented team.”

Though there are still plenty of critics, White is directing his focus to those who enjoy Power Slap. He believes this will be a card worth watching, with his team working to exceed every expectation.

“It’s fast, it’s fun, it’s exciting,” said White. “Much like the UFC, it’s even better live.”
