Updated 2023 NFL Fantasy Rankings After Crazy Week of Player Movement

Dak Prescott and Justin Fields among the quarterbacks who will benefit from added weapons on offense.

The NFL’s free agency period has featured a ton of player moves, including some that have completely changed the offensive depth charts of a few rosters. Just look at the Carolina Panthers, who will have a new starting quarterback (Bryce Young, C.J. Stroud or Andy Dalton), a new starting running back (Miles Sanders), a new No. 1 wideout (Adam Thielen?) and a new No. 1 tight end (Hayden Hurst).

The Las Vegas Raiders will have a new look, signing Jimmy Garoppolo and Jakobi Meyers while also trading fantasy star Darren Waller to the New York Giants. The Dallas Cowboys won’t have Ezekiel Elliott, but the team added Brandin Cooks to what should be a better passing game. That’s good news for Dak Prescott.

The Chicago Bears will also have a new look behind Justin Fields, trading for D.J. Moore and adding Robert Tonyan. The team also lost David Montgomery to the Detroit Lions, so Khalil Herbert could have a chance to bust out next season.

• Fantasy Impact: Adam Thielen | Brandin Cooks | Mike Gesicki | Jamaal Williams | Miles Sanders | JuJu Smith-Schuster | Baker Mayfield | David Montgomery | Allen Lazard | Rashaad Penny | Darren Waller | Jakobi Meyers | Jimmy Garoppolo | Derek Carr | Dalton Schultz | Devin Singletary | Damien Harris

These are just a few of the many moves teams have made that have shaken depth charts and upset the apple cart in the world of fantasy football. So, let’s look at how all of these players on new teams will affect drafts with my updated rankings.

As always, I’ve used a full-point PPR scoring system and have mixed in some of the current free agents and rookies. While it’s hard to rank these players because we are in the dark in terms of their future teams, I think it’s a good idea to remember the names that could make an impact and some of the potential high-end rookies.

With that being said, here’s my updated rankings for 2023! Check back for more updates as the offseason progresses.
