Updated 2023 Fantasy Football Rankings

With training camps in full swing, Michael Fabiano is updating these rankings on a daily basis.

The 2023 NFL offseason has come and gone, and we now have a clear idea of what team rosters and depth charts look like with all 32 training camps open. It also means we can better project fantasy draft values and player rankings. With that said, here’s my updated look at every position as we inch closer to draft season.

I’ve used a full-point PPR scoring system for these rankings, so you’ll see a noted increase in wide receivers in the overall top 200. In fact, I have Justin Jefferson as my consensus No. 1 overall pick. Fellow receivers Ja’Marr Chase and Cooper Kupp are also in the top five, so the position’s value has clearly increased.

At the quarterback position, Aaron Rodgers is now with the Jets, opening the door for Jordan Love to shine in Green Bay. I’m optimistic about Anthony Richardson as a rookie, though I’m not projecting him as a No. 1 fantasy quarterback in drafts. I also have Brock “Mr. Irrelevant” Purdy ranked ahead of Trey Lance in San Francisco, and I like Pittsburgh’s Kenny Pickett as a late-round sleeper in drafts.

Among the running backs, I’m expecting rookie Bijan Robinson to make a huge Year 1 impact in Atlanta. I’ve also moved Nick Chubb into the top five at the position, but fellow veterans like Dalvin Cook and Alvin Kamara are no longer on the list of No. 1 fantasy backs.

At tight end, Travis Kelce remains the unquestioned top option with Mark Andrews and T.J. Hockenson going No. 2 and 3 behind him. The position has a lot of good young players with upside, like Greg Dulcich and Chigoziem Okonkwo, so you might want to punt the position until the late rounds if you don’t get a star.

Alright, let’s get to it! Here’s my updated rankings for 2023! Check back for updates!
