These 5 Quarterbacks Have the Easiest Schedules During the Fantasy Playoffs

The position is thinner than ever, but favorable matchups in Weeks 15-17 make these passers valuable.

The quarterback position has been hit especially hard this season. Fantasy managers have been without Aaron Rodgers, Anthony Richardson, Kirk Cousins, Daniel Jones, Deshaun Watson and now Joe Burrow after Friday’s announcement that he is done for the season.

There’s a chance you’ve still remained in fantasy playoff contention even with one of these signal-callers, and now you’ll need to survive without the quarterback you drafted to be your QB1. The good news is, your backup quarterback may be able to pull it off -- and you may even be able to stream a QB on the waiver wire. Looking ahead at the fantasy playoff schedule of Weeks 15-17, here are five quarterbacks with very favorable schedules. Consider grabbing one of them now (Week 15-17 opponents in parentheses).

Kyler Murray (SF, CHI, PHI)

Murray has looked good in both of his games back in action, and it appears his mobility hasn’t suffered at all. Murray’s 19.4 fantasy points per game currently ranks him as fourth among quarterbacks. San Francisco and Philadelphia are likely playoff teams, but they have been among the worst vs. the pass since Week 7. It doesn’t look like the Cardinals are tanking, and Murray could be involved in some high-scoring shootouts. He’s always a threat with his legs, too.

Russell Wilson (DET, NE, LAC)

Wilson has already played better than his draft-day value, as he is the QB13 for the season. He hasn’t passed for a lot of volume but Wilson has been efficient with 19 passing touchdowns this season (tied for third-most with Dak Prescott and Cousins. The Denver defense is keeping the offense in the game, and Wilson has somehow outdueled both Patrick Mahomes and Josh Allen this season. The championship week matchup with the Chargers is especially juicy for WIlson.

Joshua Dobbs (CIN, DET, GB)

Dobbs continues to put up solid numbers for fantasy managers, finishing as the QB12 for Week 11 heading into Monday Night Football. His 389 rushing yards this season ranks second to only Lamar Jackson, and his six rushing touchdowns rank second behind co-leaders Jalen Hurts and Josh Allen. Cincinnati and Green Bay have been especially vulnerable to mobile quarterbacks and he should be getting another weapon back in Justin Jefferson to aid in the passing game just in time for your playoff run.

Matthew Stafford (WSH, NO, NYG)

Even if he has to play without Cooper Kupp, the Rams have already proven they are deep enough to stay competitive in games. We just saw the Washington defense surrender three touchdowns to Tommy DeVito, and the Giants allowed six different Cowboys to score in Week 10. Stafford should be able to hold a solid floor for you in the playoffs.

Will Levis (HOU, SEA, HOU)

Levis looked alive mostly in garbage time vs. the Jaguars on Sunday, completing 76.5% of his passes for 186 yards and two touchdowns. Matchups with the Texans and the Seahawks will likely follow a similar pattern, with the Titans playing catch-up vs. defenses that can be vulnerable to the pass.
