Top Dynasty Wide Receivers: Michael Thomas, DeAndre Hopkins, Chris Godwin, Tyreek Hill
When it comes to building a dominant fantasy football team in dynasty leagues, having a stud wide receiver is crucial to success. There’s a handful of elite pass catchers that not only can help fantasy players win in 2020 but also future seasons to come. Saints All-Pro Michael Thomas, Chiefs Tyreek Hill, Buccaneers Chris Godwin, and Cardinals receiver DeAndre Hopkins make up the elite options when it comes to the most sought after wide receivers in dynasty leagues.
Sports Illustrated’s fantasy analysts Frank Taddeo and Shawn Childs provided insight onto this group of pass-catchers.

Bill Enright: When it comes to wide receivers in Dynasty Fantasy Football League, there's a handful that we would love to have on our teams. Let's find out who they are by bringing on Frank Taddeo and Shawn Childs, two of our fantasy gambling analyst here at Sports Illustrated. Frank, I'm going to toss it over to you. Let's give me a breakdown on Michael Thomas and Chris Godwin.
Frank Taddeo: Yeah, two players, Bill, that just scream off to page in fantasy football, especially in 2020. Michael Thomas is arguably the best wide receiver in the entire league and he's arguably even the best wide receiver in fantasy and a case can be made that he's the No. 1 player that should come off the board in redraft leagues. But in terms of dynasty leagues, for the next four, five, six years for having Michael Thomas on my team sign me up. In terms of Chris Godwin, I absolutely love his potential, especially this year and going forward. In my model, I actually have him going off the board in the first round and I think he is the player that all fantasy owners should target. Even over his teammate, Mike Evans, catching passes now from Tom Brady in Tampa Bay. For me, Chris Godwin is a player that for the next five, six, seven years, you're going to want to own. This is one hundred catch guy that I think is going to be going forward and will be strong, Bill.
Bill Enright: Shawn, let me go over to you for some other wide receivers that we love to have on our team. Talk to me about DeAndre Hopkins and Tyreek Hill.
Shawn Childs: It's all about dynasty leagues that's trying to win for this year. You can't build down the road. So for me, Tyreek Hill is a guy I'm very, very attracted to. This year he struggled last year, averaged, in his best 13 games, around 18 fantasy points. Two years ago, he was close to 21 fantasy points when Patrick Mahomes was throwing around 50 touchdown passes, 5000 yards. I expect Kansas City to push back hard this year. He's going to be really productive, and he's going to have some value in the run game. So he's a guy that's undervalued for me and he's a guy I would prefer to have over the short term. But long term, DeAndre Hopkins has a better resume. Played extremely well in Houston. 580 catches. 708 yards, 52 touchdowns over six years. But the move to Arizona is going he's going to look at a little more competition for passes. The wide receiver corps a little bit better. Got Kyler Murray is still developing. But, you know, over the long term, Hopkins is probably going to be the better player. But this year I'm going to lean towards Hill and I think that both players are going to help you win. But overall, they're probably tough, five wide receivers, no matter how you look at it.
Bill Enright: Great insight. Frank and Shawn, thank you guys so much. We have plenty more fantasy football rankings. You can find it by going to SI.com/fantasy.
