The PGA Tour's West Coast swing rolls into San Diego this week for the Farmers Insurance Open—a great event if you're a football fan.

With a nod to the NFL's conference championship games next Sunday, the tournament is contested Wednesday through Saturday. No double-screen Sunday required for fans of both sports.

Come Wednesday, 156 players will take on Torrey Pines, with the North and South courses used the first two rounds and the final two rounds all on the beefy par-72, 7,765-yard South course.
