PGA Tour rookie Matthieu Pavon made history at the Farmers Insurance Open, becoming the first Frenchman to win a Tour eent in the modern era. He, along with the rest of the field, will be home in time to watch the NFL conference championships, since the tournament once again ended on Saturday to avoid football.

He's also $1.62 million richer, as that was the first-place prize from a $9 million purse. The Farmers Insurance Open got a small bump from last year, which paid out $8.7 million.

Next week's stop on the West Coast swing is a signature event at Pebble Beach, which compromised this week's field a bit, but some star power was still on hand with defending champion Max Homa as well as native Californians Patrick Cantlay and Xander Schauffele.

Here's the full payouts for those who made the cut at the Farmers this week.
