The PGA Tour returned to Vidanta Vallarta this week for the Mexico Open, sandwiched between the Tour's West Coast and Florida swings.

Only three players in the top 40 of the Official World Golf Rankings competed, meaning this week was a valuable opportunity to grab FedEx Cup points and cash without having to battle the game's stars.

Jake Knapp took full advantage, picking up his first PGA Tour win in Mexico after an adventurous even-par final round where he hit only two fairways. Sami Valimaki also had a career-best payday with a solo-second finish.
