This may seem crazy, but CT Pan, who is currently at 22-1 in the SI Sportsbook, might be the best live bet value in a while. Coming off of a T3 in Mexico last week (and a T3 at this tournament in 2021), Pan might be finding his groove at a course where's he's had previous success. When you have a golfer in form and only off of the lead by three strokes at +2200, it's hard to disagree with the value. The average pre-tournament odds for PGA tournament winners in 2024 is 146-1. Why not CT Pan this week? It says here the value is right.

Two Bonus Cognizant Classic Mid-Event Bets

Tom Kim to beat Shane Lowry in Round 3 is currently -110, and our model likes Kim's accuracy off the tee and prowess on approach play. Kim's recent form, including a string of top finishes and a notably better putting average in recent tournaments, suggests he's better positioned to go low in Round 3. He a great bet on Saturday.

Our model also likes Byeong An over Rickie Fowler, another one at -110. An's superior scrambling ability and greens in regulation (GIR) percentage give him the edge, particularly on a course where recovery play and consistency from tee to green are crucial. Additionally, An's recent uptick in performance, highlighted by his impressive strokes gained around the greens, positions him as a more reliable bet against Fowler, who has struggled with consistency in recent rounds.
