2024 Masters Apparel Scripting: What the Pros Are Wearing at Augusta National

Leading brands ensure players look their springtime best for golf's most popular event.

The year's first major championship, the Masters at Augusta National Golf Club, and all the highly anticipated spring traditions that go with this tournament—from azaleas to peaches, pimentos to green jackets—are ready to burst.

It’s also where we get to see players wearing new collections of golf apparel and footwear, and this season runs the gamut of fresh prints, colors and styles. Welcome to Masters Scripting 2024.

As he makes his first Masters appearance, Aberg will be hoping to slip on a green jacket over his Go-To Novelty Polo shirt. The adidas Go-To polos are made with a jersey fabric that is lightweight, breathable and features flex benefits to allow him to move without restriction. Aberg will be pairing the tops with the new Ultimate365 Chino Pants for a clean and stylish look.

Following the momentum of his win in Texas, Bhatia's major looks feature a varied collection of statement prints in seasonal colors. His style is characterized for its modern spirit while still keeping the palette of each look timeless and classic.

Bradley teamed up as an ambassador with Flag & Anthem earlier this year to collaborate on the MadeFlex performance collection. This week at the Masters, Bradley will wear an array of polos and pants that feature prints, stripes and solids in breathable, wicking, UV protecting fabric engineered for comfort. The pants combine stretch fabric for unrestricted movement with a smart, tailored fit that go from the tee box to 19th hole with ease and style.

Cantlay takes on the tournament in best-selling styles from Draddy Sport. The uniquely textured tech fabric of the Captain Cool Polo will keep him comfortable and dry as he tees off Thursday. Cantlay keeps it classic on Saturday and Sunday in Draddy Sport’s signature solid polo, the Ryan, made from a proprietary jersey that performs like a tech polo but looks, feels and wears like natural fibers.

The 2023 PGA Tour Rookie of the Year will sport the Cloud Lightweight Polo in stripes and prints, and the Motion Pant in a tailored fit. The Cloud Polo collection features ultra-fine yarns, primarily from Beechwood trees, and a technical fabric process innovated by the Tasc brand. The fabric delivers superior comfort, drape, and cooling capabilities, without using chemical performance additives. The Motion Pant is made from a proprietary Bamboo viscose that is lightweight and breathable, offering plenty of stretch. They’re also water resistant, quick-dry, easy care and have multiple secure pockets for both on and off the course.

Day joined the Malbon Golf label at the beginning of this year after a long stint wearing Nike. Known as a brand where fashion and culture intersect with golf, the lifestyle apparel that truly defines on and off course appealed to Day, who was looking for something that better fit him personally and wasn’t like everyone else on Tour. The special group for the Masters includes a nylon mesh Basket pant with drawcord hem, comfort elastic waistband, snap closure pockets and mesh front pocket. A quarter-zip and paneled polo will do the job required of performance pieces on the course, but the show stopper will be Friday’s championship vest with bold Intarsia artwork and oversized armholes that are sure to get the attention of patron, fellow players and announcers at the Masters.

DeChambeau will wear items from STITCH’s spring apparel collection, featuring a color palette inspired by springtime flowers, clear blue skies and beautiful weather that is celebrated in Augusta during the tournament. The collection showcases innovative design and detail elements such as under-buttons and hidden collar stays that add simple luxury, and ensure they stay crisp all tournament long. Signature performance polos, lightweight layers and moisture wicking tech pants all work to keep players feeling cool, dry and comfortable even in the height of competition.

Dunlap made history at the American Express earlier this year and he’ll be on a mission to do it again at the Masters. On Sunday, he’ll be wearing the Ultimate365 Tour Primeknit Polo Shirt that is engineered for an unmatched range of motion for your swing. Fowler will wear pieces from Puma's new Season Opener Collection including a Pique Garden Polo in vine/deep navy on Thursday and orange/deep navy on Sunday. Each is made from a new pique material that features four-way stretch and moisture-wicking capabilities and is made from at least 70% recycled material. He will also wear Dealer 5 Pocket Pant in White Glow and Navy Blazer.

Grillo will wear pieces from Puma's Season Opener Collection including the Pique Garden Polo in zen blue/deep navy as well as two MATTR polos featuring MATTR technology (Materials, Technology, and Research) with moisture-wicking and quick-drying capabilities. Dealer 5 Pocket Pant in white glow and navy blazer colors feature a stretch waistband and Duramesh pockets for comfort and durability.

The 2023 Champion Golfer of the year will represent the Draddy Sport line, which takes the fit and comfort of the brand’s traditional polos and adds moisture wicking, quick dry, stretch and breathability for the perfect blend of form and function. Henley’s Carnew Graphene Jacquard quarter-zip outer layer will come in handy on Thursday as Augusta's weather looks dicey. It’s made with four-way performance stretch fabric for lightweight mobility and comfort. By Friday the skies clear but temperatures remain fairly mild, so we might see the Dunning Connor All-Season crewneck sweater come into play with its contrast knit racing stripe sleeves that elevate this classic style. All four days feature Henley wearing Providence Performance pants that are moisture-wicking, have a slim fit, and are made from eco-conscious recycled polyester.

Homa will be wearing spring standouts from the newly launched Ocean Park Collection. This collection features the color combinations of blue sky, ocean and deep blue accented with pops of berry. The apparel scripting is paired perfectly with beautiful, hand-crafted Premiere Series shoes. Premiere Series continues to be the shoe of choice at every event on the PGA Tour, inspired by golf shoes of the past and supercharged for today’s game.

Hovland will wear outfits from J.Lindeberg’s second drop of its exclusive Tour Collection, created to reflect the majesty of Augusta National. The design takes inspiration from the lush azalea flowers lining the iconic 13th hole, featuring a sophisticated palette of black, grey and red, accented with a distinct tropical print. The limited-edition pieces bridge modern sophistication and functional excellence, made with stretchy, moisture-wicking and fast-drying fabrics. The capsule collection will be available exclusively at selected J.Lindeberg stores and online April 8.

Lamprecht became the third South African in six years to win the British Amateur, giving him an exemption to play in the Masters. At 6-foot-8, he’ll stand out in head-to-toe G/FORE including his golf gloves. Outfit highlights include the Aye Poppy Polo that has moisture-wicking and antimicrobial properties plus four-way stretch. The Warp Knit Straight Leg Pant is designed with a modern straight leg cut, and the technical properties make them ideal for activewear. The Luxe Crewneck Mid Layer with soft tech jersey fabric make it a must-have versatile item, and the Brushed Back Tech Hoodie offers sporty comfort. Footwear is from the 2024 Tourney Capsule featuring the new Gallivan2r shoes with replaceable Tour FlexPro softspikes.

Highlighted in detail is Min Woo Lee’s Thursday outfit from lululemon’s latest golf campaign, featuring the quick drying Evolution Polo in Heather Lilac Ether and ABC Slim-Fit Trouser Warpstreme in Silver Drop, two of Lee’s favorite pieces. He’ll be seen sporting the ABC Trouser every day paired back to the Evolution Polo or Metal Vent Polo. Lululemon’s golf assortment merges comfort, style, and performance—featuring details like added stretch for superior swings, drop-in pockets for tees and scorecards, and ventilated fabrics that make any match feel like a breeze.

Luke List/Greyson Clothiers

Understated prints and signature stripes set the tone for List's styles in Georgia. The tournament looks range in colors from light peach to navy blue, and prove to be versatile pieces for on and off the course without sacrificing performance. Combining both signature classics with new seasonal styles, Justin Thomas's looks are a tribute to the rich history behind the major along with a modern twist that is unique to Greyson. The spotlight lands on the Garden of Wolves Polo, a limited edition print in signature shades of pink and green that JT will debut on Thursday.

Erik van Rooyen returns to Augusta where he'll compete in his custom-designed ECCO BIOM H4 signature edition shoes. Last year, ECCO introduced a new iteration of the shoe that includes a partial redesign and showcases the South African's renowned passion for fashion and music. Hidden on the sole of the shoe is a pop of blue and orange, and the guitar string design on the uppers of the shoe are a nod to his love of the instrument. Features include FluidForm Direct Comfort, BIOM technology, MTN Grip outsole and a TPU element that wraps around the foot.

EVR is also presenting a combination of seasonal statement prints with Greyson’s signature stripes. Light colors and neutrals work together to create an understated palette that allows for the prints to shine. The Montauk Trouser, a popular trouser for the course, will serve as his foundation for the entire week.

Watson will be an honorary starter at Augusta National, teeing off with Gary Player and Jack Nicklaus. On Friday he will don a Pique Garden Polo in vine/deep navy, featuring a new pique material with four-way stretch and moisture-wicking capabilities. The former U.S. Open champ will also wear Dealer pants with Dealer fabric technology and two-way stretch capabilities. The Volition shirts for the weekend will feature patriotic designs including a Volition Eagle on Sunday.

Young’s looks are tournament ready as he leans into a blend of both natural fiber and performance pieces from the Crown Crafted line. Standout pieces include Thursday’s Excursionist Flex Quarter-Zip, which features fine merino wool infused with performance yarns for mobility and softness. Friday’s moisture-wicking performance Crown Crafted jersey polo and Blade performance pant will keep him cool under pressure. If the weather dictates on Saturday, the Quest Quarter-Zip layer will come in handy, and on Sunday Young will look to a new outer layer to pull double duty with the Contour Vest in a soft aqua shade for a pop of color.
