Tiger Woods Draws Afternoon Tee Time for Round 1 at Augusta National

The five-time Masters champion will play with Jason Day and Max Homa.

AUGUSTA, Ga. – Jon Rahm will begin the defense of his Masters title on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in a grouping with Matt Fitzpatrick and Nick Dunlap.

Fitzpatrick won the 2022 U.S. Open and per tradition Dunlap, as the reigning U.S. Amateur champion, plays with the defending champion. They will also play together at 1:36 p.m. on Thursday.

Tiger Woods, who is playing in the Masters for the 26th time, begins play at 1:26 p.m. in the fourth-to-last group. He will be with Jason Day and Max Homa.

PGA champion Brooks Koepka follows Woods along with Open champion Brian Harman and Tom Kim. U.S. Open champion Wyndham Clark begins at 10:54 a.m. with Viktor Hovland and Cam Smith.

Jack Nicklaus, Gary Player and Tom Watson will get the tournament started with a ceremonial first tee shot at 7:40 a.m. The first tee time will see Erik Van Rooyen and Jake Knapp go off at 8 a.m. The last time is at 2 p.m. and has 2020 Masters champion Dustin Johnson, Collin Morikawa and Tommy Fleetwood.
