7Diamonds seeks to become golfers’ best friend
Feeling lucky?
I did after discovering 7Diamonds at the PGA Merchandise Show in January. The fashion-forward lifestyle brand has been around for a couple decades, selling to department and boutique stores. Now it brings experience and premium quality products to the golf market.
Founded in Los Angeles in 2000, 7Diamonds is committed to producing premium products with sophisticated designs and keen attention to every detail.
“As a leader in men’s fashion for 20 years, 7Diamonds has always catered to the active man who likes to forge his own individuality in the style of clothes he wears,” said Greg Marshall, 7Diamonds vice president, sales and marketing. “The crossover to golf is just a natural fit for the constant evolution we pursue in style, quality and function.”
A proprietary full-performance fabric called linear flex, which has four-way stretch and is breathable, machine washable, wrinkle-free, moisture-wicking and retains its shape, is ideal for 7Diamonds’ Infinity golf pants and shorts. It’s also being used in a casual jacket for course-to-club and travel use.
In addition to all of the technical aspects, the best aspect of the of the linear flex fabric is the quality hand feel. It’s more like something normally find on a high-end designer label’s pant that costs four times the price — surprisingly nice and a great feel against the skin.
The polo tops are stylish and also perform with fabric that is moisture-wicking, shrink and wrinkle resistant, permanent color, anti-bacterial and hypoallergenic. Contrast edging, plus an array of seasonal colors and patterns, check the box for on-trend looks.
The four-way stretch collection also includes an array of long and short sleeve button down shirts, blazers, casual chino pants for the pro shops that want to carry a full selection of men’s lifestyle apparel.
