A big purse was up for grabs at the 2023 BMW PGA Championship, and all 12 members of the European Ryder Cup team headlined an elite field in Wentworth to compete for it.

Yet the winner wasn't one of those 12, it was New Zealander Ryan Fox. The 36-year-old won for the fourth time on the DP World Tour with four rounds in the 60s and a weekend of 66-67.
