2023 Hero World Challenge Full Field: Tiger Woods and PGA Tour Elites Battle in the Bahamas

A field of 20 is playing for a $3.5 million purse and OWGR points as the 'Silly Season' begins.

The official PGA Tour season is over, with the top 125 set for 2024 and a noteworthy champion (Ludvig Aberg!) crowned before Thanksgiving at the RSM Classic.

Now it's time for a few weeks of laid-back golf, starting with the Hero World Challenge at Albany in the Bahamas.

This is Tiger Woods's event, and the host gave the event a considerable boost last week by committing to the 20-player field. He's playing twice this month, having also announced that he'll join his son Charlie at the PNC Championship.

In the Bahamas, Woods will tee it up with most of the top players on the PGA Tour. U.S. Open champion Wyndham Clark, British Open winner Brian Harman and FedEx Cup winner Viktor Hovland are on hand. Max Homa is also playing, continuing a busy offseason which included a win in South Africa at the Nedbank Golf Challenge.

Also playing is Will Zalatoris, making his first start in a comeback from back surgery. His last PGA Tour event was the WGC-Dell Match Play in March.

The Hero has a $4.5 million purse with $1 million for the winner. Official World Golf Ranking points are also available in the no-cut limited-field event, a fact not lost on LIV Golf supporters.
