2023 Honda Classic Full Field: Sungjae Im, Billy Horschel Lone Top 20 Players at PGA National

The PGA Tour's Florida Swing begins after two consecutive 'designated' events, consequently many top players are taking the week off.

Honda, the longest uninterrupted title sponsor on the PGA Tour, is ending its streak after this week's event in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.

Few of the PGA Tour's top players will be around to see it.

The Honda Classic was put in a tough spot this season with the Tour's new system of elevating certain events; immediately before this event the WM Phoenix Open and Genesis Invitational had the elevated status, assured of getting all the best players. And next week is another spotlight event, the Arnold Palmer Invitational. The purse for each of those: $20 million.

The purse at PGA National's Champion Course is "only" $8.4 million, and the field reflects that drop. Past champion Sungjae Im and Billy Horschel, ranked No. 18 and 19 in the world, are the only players in the OWGR top 20.

Sepp Straka returns to defend his title on one of the Tour's tougher courses. Only three times in the last decade has the winner reached double-digits under par.
