LIV Golf returned this week with its first trip to Spain and renowned Valderrama. It's LIV Golf's eighth event of its 14-event season, and once again LIV is offering a $25 million purse, with $4 million set for the individual winner and $5 to be divided between the three top teams.

You could say that a lot has happened since LIV's previous event, which was a week before the alliance between LIV Golf and the PGA Tour and DP World Tours was first announced. Since that day the golf world has been reeling with unanswered questions, but this week LIV got back to golf — and Talor Gooch got back to winning.

Gooch won for the third time on the season, beating Bryson DeChambeau by a shot. Brooks Koepka took solo third.

In the team competition, Torque GC (Joaquin Niemann, Sebastian Munoz, David Puig, Mito Pereira) won by five shots over the RangeGoats for a second consecutive team title.

Here's the full breakdown of the payouts for the 2023 LIV Valderrama event.
