AUGUSTA, Ga. - The 2023 Masters offered a record-breaking payday to this year's winner, and Jon Rahm is the man who will collect.

Rahm will take home $3.24 million from the Masters' $18 million purse. That's a record prize for this event, and it's up from last year's $15 million purse and $2.7 million winner's check.

Brooks Koepka began the day four shots ahead of Jon Rahm. When they finished the rain-delayed third round Sunday, Koepka led Rahm by two with 18 holes to play. But Rahm took the lead for good on the front nine and fended off all challenges in the homestretch.

While the Masters elevated its purse to new heights this year, it actually fell short of the purses offered in this year's PGA Tour designated events, which have spiked to $20 million, with $4 million to the winners. The Players Championship remains the largest purse so far in 2023, where Scottie Scheffler won the biggest single prize of all: $4.5 million from a $25 million purse.

Here's the breakdown of winnings for the 2023 Masters.
