2023 Valspar Championship Full Field: Five of World's Top 25 Visiting Innisbrook

The Copperhead course is one of the better on the PGA Tour but the event is sandwiched between the Players and the WGC-Dell Match Play.

The PGA Tour's Florida Swing wraps up at the Valspar Championship, at one of the Tour's better public-access courses in the Copperhead course at Innisbrook Resort.

The Valspar is in a tough spot on the schedule, however, coming immediately after two designated events (Arnold Palmer Invitational, Players Championship) and with the WGC-Dell Match Play coming up next week.

Consequently, the field has just five of the top 25 players in the Official World Golf Ranking (six of the top 25 SIWGR), with the highest being Justin Thomas at No. 9.

Sam Burns, world No. 14, is back with a chance to three-peat. He followed another back-to-back champion in Paul Casey, but the Englishman left for LIV Golf and is not competing. Other past champions competing include world No. 15 Jordan Spieth and Adam Hadwin.

The Valspar has a purse of $8.1 million with $1,458,000 to the winner.
