CBS announced Tuesday that a total of 16.251 million people tuned in on Sunday to watch the Masters’ third round and final round.

Most of the viewership came in the afternoon for the final round as Jon Rahm became the Masters champion after shooting 12-under. The final round averaged 12 million viewers on Sunday, which was up 19% from last year’s broadcast. It was also the most-watched golf telecast of any network in the last five years.

Peak viewership came around 7 p.m. ET on Sunday when over 15 million fans tuned in to watch Rahm officially earn his first Green Jacket.

Normally, CBS wouldn’t show the Masters on Sunday morning, but since play was suspended on Saturday due to rainy conditions, the broadcast finished showing the round on Sunday morning.

CBS noted that its streaming service, Paramount+, hit record viewership numbers during the final round as it became the most streamed golf round in the service’s history thus far.
