Collin Morikawa didn’t have his best showing this week at the Charles Schwab Challenge, but at least he can make light of that.

The two-time major champion and Netflix’s Full Swing star shot even par for the tournament, which should leave him standing in a tie for 29th place. But there was one particular hole at Colonial that haunted him all tournament.

Morikawa took to Twitter on Sunday afternoon to pose a playful question to his followers.

“Anyone want to guess my least favorite hole for the week?” Morikawa wrote.

The 26-year-old then shared screenshots of each of his daily scorecards, where fans can clearly tell which hole was his nemesis for the week.

Morikawa played Colonial’s 9th hole—a 384-yard par-4 with water short of the green—at seven strokes over par. He made a triple bogey during the first round, bogeys in the second and third rounds and a double on the Sunday. Morikawa’s triple and double bogeys both included water balls.

If Morikawa had played the hole at even par, he’d be tied with Scottie Scheffler, who made an ace during Sunday’s round and finished in solo fourth place at 7 under.

Luckily, Morikawa might never have to play the nightmarish hole ever again.

Well, sort of.

Colonial Country Club is set to begin major restorations directed by Gil Hanse on Monday, where the course infrastructure, bunkers, tees and green complexes will all be completely redone.

Hopefully Morikawa is welcomed to Fort Worth in 2024 by a reconstructed 9th hole that’s a bit kinder to him.
