Defending champion: Dustin Johnson, with a record 20-under 268 score in the 2020 Masters, which had been postponed until November because of the COVID-19 pandemic
Crowd: Spectators – or, patrons, in Augusta parlance – will return to Augusta National this year, though in limited numbers because of the ongoing effects of the pandemic. Club officials did not release details of the anticipated attendance.
