Rory McIlroy earned $1.458 million for his one-stroke victory Sunday in the PGA Tour's $8.1 million Wells Fargo Championship at Quail Hollow Club in Charlotte, N.C.

The victory, McIlroy's first triumph since late 2019 in Shanghai, was the 19th of the Northern Irishman's career on the PGA Tour. It was his third triumph at Quail Hollow.
