As Jon Rahm lifted his arms in triumph after sinking a putt to win the 2023 Masters, golf Twitter users got digging.

A tweet that Rahm shared 10 years prior to his victory at Augusta National immediately started to go viral after the 28-year-old captured his second major championship victory.

Rahm shared the tweet on Nov. 8, 2013, and the caption read: “I am gonna win the masters!”

The caption itself aged well, but the photo attached to the post made it all the more fitting.

Rahm snapped a picture of a Panda Express fortune—yes, from inside of a fortune cookie—that perfectly described his future Masters victory.

“Your talent will be recognized and suitably rewarded,” the fortune read.

At the time, Rahm was a sophomore at Arizona State University, where he won 11 times throughout his four years. Now, just 10 years later, Rahm is an 11-time PGA Tour winner and with his Masters victory, he will regain his spot at the No. 1 player in the world.
