Jordan and Annie Spieth have officially welcomed their second child, Sophie Spieth. 

On social media, Spieth shared a close-up black-and-white photo of him holding his newborn. 

“Welcome, Sophie,” the caption read. 

The newest member of the Spieth family was born on Sep. 12, 2023. 

Back in November of 2021, Jordan and Annie announced the birth of their first child, Sammy. The Spieth family appeared together at this year’s Masters Par-3 Contest, where young Sammy stole the show

Last weekend, Spieth was absent during the U.S. Ryder Cup team’s scouting trip to Marco Simone Golf Club in Rome due to his wife’s pregnancy. Nine members of the team spent a few days together at the 2023 venue to practice ahead of the biennial event. 

Spieth is set to compete for the American squad Sep. 29-Oct.1 as the U.S. attempts to end a 30-year winless drought overseas.
