From Hideki Matsuyama’s mind-boggling coin drill to Jordan Spieth’s alignment contraption, the WGC-Dell Match Play has seen players bringing out some outlandish practice methods this week. But this video of Kevin Kisner’s pre-round putting routine might top them all.

Although he is already eliminated from the Dell Match Play bracket, Kisner was still grinding on Austin Country Club’s putting green before his match against Justin Suh.

The University of Georgia alum appeared to be strapping training aids shaped like half spheres to each of his feet, and PGA Tour Live broadcasters were baffled at the sight of the drill.

The video immediately went viral as fans were completely perplexed by Kisner’s practice tool.

“How about this?” the broadcaster said. “That’s like something out of Back to the Future.

Kisner, who has struggled on the course as of late, was most likely fine tuning his center of gravity with this drill. The placement of the balls under his feet help him identify whether his weight is shifting towards his heels or toes throughout the putting stroke. As Kisner likes to say: This ain’t no hobby.
