Where the LIV Golfers Stand After Round 2 of the 2023 Masters

The cut at the 87th Masters finally fell on Saturday, and 12 of the 16 LIV players completing 36 holes will continue for 36 more. Two LIV golfers withdrew and did not finish the tournament: Kevin Na and Louis Oosthuizen.

Brooks Koepka leads the way (and the tournament) among the LIV contingent at 12 under, while Phil Mickelson trails at 4 under.

“I feel really good. I like the way I'm swinging the golf club, putting it, chipping it, driving it, iron play is solid,” Koepka said after he finished his round on Friday.

Mickelson, who finished with a 3-under 69 on Friday, also feels confident in his game and his ability to go low this weekend.

“There's a lot of positives because I hit a lot of good shots. I made a lot of good putts. I can see a lot of really positive signs in my game. Again, I just need to be mentally sharp on every single shot out here because the penalty is two strokes for a mis-hit,” Mickelson said.

A total of 31 players missed the cut, including past Masters champions Sergio Garcia and Bubba Watson.
